Neal

When we first brought Neal to Pediatric Therapies he was very resistant to trying new foods and stuck with a fairly limited variety of foods. He could not even tolerate something on his plate that was either unfamiliar or not preferred. We didn’t understand that his underdeveloped motor skills and weak jaw strength were playing a role. He has grown significantly stronger physically, and that has helped his emotional strength as well. While anxiety still plays a role in food avoidance, he has made great progress in at least exploring a wider variety of foods, and he’s more involved in planning and preparing meals. He’s much more flexible. We are very pleased with Ms. Mary’s therapeutic skills and the office staff were always courteous as well!
